Lest We Forget

On Remembrance Sunday, 8 November 2020, we will remember the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for peace.

Restrictions considering the pandemic mean that most are unable to mark the Remembrance period in their usual way. The national Cenotaph ceremony, which normally is attended by some 10,000 veterans and members of the public, will be held on a much smaller scale.

We pay tribute to the millions of people, at home and abroad, who served and sacrificed in the war. To those who gave so much, we thank you.

We encourage everyone to take a few silent minutes to remember. Live coverage is still expected on television and can be viewed safely, from home. Our local clients in Herefordshire should be aware that there will be a Remembrance video premiere from the Hereford City Council on their Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/HerefordCityCouncil

At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We remembered them.
