Michael Horne LLB (Hons) Director of Litigation
Michael heads up our expert litigation team as well as our employment law team and oversees all of our qualified solicitors, junior solicitors, trainee solicitors, legal assistants and paralegals.
A committed family man, Michael comes from a commercial background, having run his own businesses prior to training as a solicitor. He's no stranger to considered risk taking, being a fully trained free fall parachutist, helicopter pilot and experienced in fixed wing aerobatics.

Dele Alakija LLB (Hons) Barrister and Part Time Immigration Judge
Dele began his professional career in Pathology in London. He was Head of Pathology at 2 Independent hospitals before moving into hospital administration and eventually became Chief Executive of a large independent hospital and charity. His appointment as a Magistrate, a position in which he served for 10 years, re awakened an interest in law, which led to him taking a law degree and qualifying as a barrister.

Julie Ferguson Practice Manager
With over 17 years of managerial and training experience Julie has extensive skills in client care and communications. With a fantastic knowledge base of all roles within the Kidwells environment, Julie heads our PR and HR department.
When not working Julie enjoys socialising with family and friends and loves reading and walking the dog. -
Zornica Terziyska Accounts Manager
We take pride in our administration and our specialist accounts staff ensure your account is always up to date and available to you within 24 hours of your request.
Zornica is fluent in Bulgarian and can also speak Russian and Polish. When not being kept on her toes by her young son, and spending time with her family, she can often be found out walking her dog in the local countryside.

Neil Canning Head of Marketing
Neil has substantial legal marketing experience and has worked for firms across the country. At Kidwells he will be managing the marketing function and continuing to raise the profile of the firm, looking after our clients and targeting new sources of work.
Away from the office Neil enjoys reading and watching football and, as a Welshman, has a passion for his beloved Wales rugby team.

Jo Thurlow LLB (Hons) Litigation and Family Law
Jo began her career in law in the military and has experience in many overseas jurisdictions. She studied law at Aberystwyth University and completed her legal practice course in the College of Law, London. Jo has experience in company law, general litigation and family law.
Outside of work Jo loves spending time hill-walking with her dogs and travelling to far flung, distant places, preferably “off the beaten track”. Jo likes to relax by reading, socialising with friends and family and attending live music gigs.

Helen Mandeville LLB (Hons) Litigation
Helen studied Law at Manchester Metropolitan University where she gained her LLB (Hons). She has studied her LPC at The College of Law, Birmingham, and has recently started her training contract with Kidwells.
When Helen is not working or studying she enjoys horseriding, aerobics and yoga, and socialising with friends.

Sarah Everton BA (Hons) Employment Law
Sarah completed a degree in philosophy at York before deciding on a career in Law. She took a part time law conversion course (CPE) at Worcester followed by an LPC in Birmingham. Originally from the south coast, Sarah obtained a training contracted on the Isle of Wight before returning to the Midlands as a solicitor. Sarah is an experienced and committed employment law specialist and member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
To counteract the sedentary nature of being a solicitor when not at work Sarah enjoys relaxing by walking, cycling, running or riding.

Rebecca Hardy LLB (Hons) Employment Law
Becci started studying Law at the University of Gloucestershire in 2006 and went part time in 2008 in order to gain some practical experience and knowledge of “the law” in real life. After graduating in 2010 she now wishes to extend her specialist knowledge of Employment Law over the next year as a Legal Assistant (she's also looking forward to no studying!). She then wishes to undertake the LPC in September 2011 following a Training Contract with Kidwells.
In her spare time she admits to enjoying socializing a lot more than she probably should, meaning she is out most nights of the week with friends and family. She also volunteers at Ledbury Town Football club where she is heavily involved in marketing the Club and currently fills in as Club Secretary. Any free time she has left gets spent with her long term boyfriend and travelling.

Fiona Davies BA (Hons) Dip RSA AIPD Wills & Probate
Fiona studied Law and French at Keele University and completed her Legal Practice Finals in Wolverhampton. She has extensive litigation experience and more recently Wills and Probate have become her preferred area of Law.
When not working Fiona enjoys watercolour painting, hiking, travelling and spending time with Family and Friends.

Ray Danenbergs Pro Bono Services
Ray is a qualified and experienced professional with extensive ‘hands on’ expertise combined with wide experience of projects implementation, management and administration.
Ray spent more than thirty years with a blue chip company managing teams of multi skilled staff employed on diverse programmes. For the past ten years he has worked for the Herefordshire People’s Advocacy Network first as an advocate and for the past 9 years as a co-ordinator. With the help of volunteer advocates he has helped many older people in Herefordshire to speak out about their concerns and assisted them to solve some of their problems.
He is fluent in Latvian, a member of the Herefordshire Language Network and takes an active part in meeting with members of the Diversity and Equality organisation. Ray likes to spend his leisure time visiting his family, gardening, renovating his home, undertaking European travel and photography and listening to classical music.

Helene Stern Legal Secretary
Since leaving college Helene has found an interest in law through working for various charities and having had the opportunity to work an internship at a busy London firm of solicitors. Prior to starting at Kidwells she worked at a charity that specialised in working with women who are involved with the criminal justice system, and which gave her a focused interest in this area. Helene is now looking forward to progressing her legal career through Kidwells and is currently also studying Law part time through Ilex.
In her spare time she enjoys socialising, reading, spending time with her partner, and walking the dog!

Laura Horne Legal Secretary
Laura has completed her training and is now a legal secretary with Kidwells. In her spare time, she's a regular runner and enjoys horse riding (which apparently involves a lot of horse-hugging!), going to the gym, swimming and go-karting.

Amy Jones Legal Secretary
Amy is an ILEX Level 3 student in her second year studying at Worcester Technical College. She has studied Land Law, Conveyancing, Criminal and Contract and will go on to study Family and Tort.
In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, swimming, reading, listening to music and spending time with her friends.

Caroline Simpson Receptionist
Caroline has a 20 year background as a compositor and in graphics with local newspapers and magazines and more recently experience in customer service within the public sector.
Outside work Caroline enjoys a busy family and social life, gardening and walking. Also, when time allows, reading and creating her family tree.
