In order to streamline the process of dealing with claims the Court has set up a system so that a claim is allocated to a category called a track. The tracks depend on the amount being claimed and the complexity of the case and dictate the way in which the claim is handled by the Court.

It is not an exact system however and the guide values given on the next page are only general indicators of the amounts which would normally fall within a track. Should your claim be worth '0,000 but be a very straightforward case for example then you could choose to have it dealt with under the fast track. We would advise on which track to take given each individual claim.
